Purpose

Sell new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers within a defined sales area.

Key Responsibilities

Be the Face of Tri County Equipment: Represent the company in your sales territory, building strong relationships with customers and promoting our machinery.

Stay Knowledgeable: Maintain expertise in all equipment features, benefits, and financing options to provide the best solutions to customers.

Monitor the Market: Keep an eye on competitive products and activities, sharing insights with management to stay ahead.

Manage Customer Relationships: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information for effective sales management.

Follow the Process: Adhere to a defined sales process to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate Excellence: Conduct new equipment field demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.

Understand Customer Needs: Monitor customer business trends and communicate insights to management to align with their evolving needs.

Support Financing: Help customers secure the best financing options for their purchases.

Learn & Grow: Attend sales training events and seminars to sharpen your skills and stay ahead in the industry.

Evaluate Used Equipment (if applicable): Stay informed about used equipment values and provide accurate trade-in evaluations.

What You’ll Bring

Experience: 1+ years of equipment sales experience preferred.

Knowledge: Familiarity with agricultural or turf equipment and farming practices is a big plus.

Tech Skills: Comfortable using standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office and internet tools.

Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.

Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
